$4 Million Available from AR USDA NRCS

The USDA Announced funding now available to protect and improve migratory bird habitats.

On June 14, 2023, the Arkansas NRCS office announced a signup period for producers to apply for funding through the EQUIP - Migratory Bird Resurgence Initiative (MBRI). The purpose of the program is to assist in protecting and improving natural resources and habitats for migratory birds. NRCS in Arkansas will provide up to $4 Million in financial assistance for shallow flooding. The deadline for interested landowners/producers to apply is July 14.
