Over the years, he has earned multiple licenses in grading, fumigation, rescue training, and OSHA 30. Kurt’s dedication to learning and growing professionally, combined with his strong work ethic, make him a standout recipient of the Pride of the Plant Award.

For example, last year he was tasked with keeping the Newport facility running on his own for several days. Not only did he manage operations flawlessly, but he also solved several difficult problems while maintaining the respect and trust of everyone he worked with. During harvest, he held day shifts together while the foreman transitioned to nights due to staffing needs, always putting the plant and employees first.
